sweet miss lucy is 18 months (!!!!!!) and for this session, momma wanted to got back to the location that we did some of her 6 month photos…this amazing sunflower field

lucy’s mom wanted to do something super cute (and fitting) in the summer heat, a watermelon “smash” session! and her little blue gingham bow and blue jean shorts were just the perfect summer outfit for this session!

EEK!!!! lucy is going to be a big sister!!!

when shannon texted me asking if i could schedule something very soon for some 18 month lucy photos, i was excited (i’ve missed seeing sweet lucy every 3 months) and THEN she had to go and tell me that we needed to come up with a cute way to announce baby #2!!!! i was LITERALLY jumping up and down! so excited for them!!!! i already can’t wait to see this new baby!!!! there is not enough exclamation marks in the world for this post!!!!! lol

what do you hope it will be …boy or girl?
(i kinda want it to be a little boy version of lucy because she’s just so stinkin cute and i think he would just be the prettiest little baby boy EVER!)

this was just a fun little session that winnie grace’s mother wanted for her daughter…she’s two years old and such a cutie!

i can’t believe that baby rager is already 3 months old!  it seems like just yesterday i was taking her newborn pictures…which you can see here….such a beautiful baby!!

so….i bought this new lens (Canon 24-70 f2.8 L series) and said to myself….jac, you need to play around and have some fun with this new lens…so i called my friend jessica, the gorgeous mother of 6 month old reese, to see if she wanted to let me come over and test out the new lens on reese (who would want to pass up that!)

this was definitely one of my favorites from the session….i want to say that the blanket was jessica’s from when she was little, but i’m not really sure

she’s teething right now so she just loved to chew on them lips

it took about 2 seconds for her to start chewing on mr. bear….love this picture

and it wouldn’t be complete without a picture with her beautiful aunties….robin was trying her hardest to get her to smile!  this has to be one of my favorite candids
