as allison and michael are celebrating their one month marriage anniversary, i am uploading their wedding images and i am so happy to finally be sharing them!!
we started out the wedding day at michael’s father’s house in nashville. his home was absolutely stunning and it was the perfect location to capture the getting ready, bridal party, and first look images. the ceremony and reception took place at Events @ 1418 and it was sooooo gorgeous and the staff was amazing to work with!
allie and michael were such a joy to work with from start to finish. i absolutely loved their engagement session images that we were able to capture in downtown nashville and now i can’t wait for them to see all of their wedding images.

i would like to give a HUGE thank you to my amazing second shooter, bethany ann photography, for helping me capture these amazing images.

so a couple of weeks ago, i did this super fun session for an absolutely amazing couple! these two are so. much. fun! i have been dying to share the images, but haven’t been able to because they wanted to use my images to tell their parents that they are pregnant with their very first baby! how exciting!!!

you can just tell how fun they are by the pose above! completely james’ idea by the way! he had me cracking up at the session!

i have been wanting to do a double exposure look for a while now, but my camera doesn’t have the capability (one of these day’s i’ll be able to upgrade to one that can) … so i attempted it in photoshop….you don’t get the same exact look, but i love it nonetheless and i think it would make such an awesome print for their little nugget’s nursery
even though i only got to hang out with them for about an hour, i just know that they are going to be such amazingly fun parents to their little nugget. i really hope they call on me in a few months to take more maternity pics once amanda has an actual baby bump (i had to get her to pooch it out for a few of those shots)

lucy’s mom wanted to do something super cute (and fitting) in the summer heat, a watermelon “smash” session! and her little blue gingham bow and blue jean shorts were just the perfect summer outfit for this session!

love this sweet family!

and i am super SUPER excited that i get to show you this little animation that i came up with for this super sweet family

EEK!!!! lucy is going to be a big sister!!!
when shannon texted me asking if i could schedule something very soon for some 18 month lucy photos, i was excited (i’ve missed seeing sweet lucy every 3 months) and THEN she had to go and tell me that we needed to come up with a cute way to announce baby #2!!!! i was LITERALLY jumping up and down! so excited for them!!!! i already can’t wait to see this new baby!!!! there is not enough exclamation marks in the world for this post!!!!! lol
what do you hope it will be …boy or girl?
(i kinda want it to be a little boy version of lucy because she’s just so stinkin cute and i think he would just be the prettiest little baby boy EVER!)

first, let me start out by saying that i had SO. MUCH. FUN. on ariel and jimmy’s engagment shoot! they are such a fun couple to be around and you can really really tell how in love they are with each other!
for their engagement shoot, we started out at billy dunlop park here in clarksville, tn and ended up rock climbing at king and queens bluff in clarksville, tn.
i had SUCH a hard time narrowing down which images to edit for a sneak peek, which is why this blog post is going to seem a liiiiitle long.

there were sooooooo MANY great images from this session that i can’t wait to finish editing!

One of the best things about a photograph is that it can take you right back to a moment in time –– right back to the love and joy you felt when that image was taken. My goal is to freeze all those beautiful moments, whether it's welcoming a brand-new baby or capturing the love and connection of your family. During sessions, I am the ultimate tickle monster, giggle maker, and baby whisperer. My family sessions are play-based and fun, while my newborn sessions are gentle and relaxed, allowing for sweet, natural moments to unfold. No matter the occasion, I always strive to capture you authentically.
