the other day, my friend and i were tasked with creating the perfect christmas card photo containing her, her husband, and their two high energy boys (ages 4 and 2)

we knew that the session would be very short {due to the lack of attention spans of said high energy boys} and the main goal was to have everyone looking at the camera…smiles were bonuses

let’s just say that i can be pretty crazy at a photo session….if i have to.  lots of jumping, high energy, strange noises and sounds….all to keep the attention of small childrens so that they don’t go running off to play in the leaves

which leads me to playing in the leaves….

we managed to get that perfect christmas card photo….pretty quickly, i might add {because i’m super awesome and amazing} and while me and momma were taking a break…her hubs started piling up the leaves…

which led to this

sometimes the grown ups just want to act like kids and jump in a big, huge, pile of leaves

and   i . love . it .

i encourage you to jump in a big pile of leaves before the cold of winter gets here and you just don’t even want to leave the house!

One of the best things about a photograph is that it can take you right back to a moment in time –– right back to the love and joy you felt when that image was taken. My goal is to freeze all those beautiful moments, whether it's welcoming a brand-new baby or capturing the love and connection of your family. During sessions, I am the ultimate tickle monster, giggle maker, and baby whisperer. My family sessions are play-based and fun, while my newborn sessions are gentle and relaxed, allowing for sweet, natural moments to unfold. No matter the occasion, I always strive to capture you authentically.
